For the treatment of more resistant dermatoses such as psoriasis (excluding wide spread plaque psoriasis), recalcitrant eczema, lichn, planus, discoid lupus, erythematosus and other conditions which do not respond satisfactory to less active steroids.

Burning and stinging sensatin, less frequent adverse reactions were itching skin, atrophy, cracking and fissuring of the skin, erythema, folliculitis, skin atrophy and telangiectasia.

Systemic absorption topical corticosteroids has resulted in reversible hypothalmic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis suppression, manifestation of Cushing's syndrome, hyperglycemia and glycosuria in some patients, suppress the HPA axis in doses as low as 2 g per day. Children (under 12 yrs. of age): Not recommended.
